[Aces-support] matlab problem with "initdesktoputils"

Hi,

I logged into one node assigned to me to run matlab as the usual way I 
did before. I used "matlab -nodesktop" command. But it showed me message 
like:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Undefined function or variable "initdesktoputils".
 
Error in ==> matlabrc at 112
    initdesktoputils  %% init desktop setup code if java is present
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't know what this really mean because I used matlab in this way 
before, and it worked fine. Also I cannot use the editor of matlab by 
typing command "edit" and no hamming function can be found. So could you 
tell me where is the problem with this?
