[Aces-support] only two jobs - some won't start

Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that the problem of jobs getting killed in the PBS queue before they start is not sth happening to Rongrong only. I make the identical experience when I try to get an interactive shell running (qsub -i -l nodes=1, on geo). It immediately says "job... completed", and exits.

When I try to submit batch jobs, I also get a mail

Aborted by PBS server
Job cannot be executed
See job standard error file

and the error file is 0 bytes.

However, when I try submitting these batch jobs again, they will eventually run!


My second problem is that I still cannot run more than two jobs in the long-queue at a time. Any further job is queued for as long as it takes the others to finish. If I have to have a sponsor to get more computational resources, please let me know.
