hello gng-

maybe that's the problem. the only 
thing that i can remember having
changed library-wise is that itrda
was updated from the-compute-node-version
of fedora to fc4 (current at the time).

if you are running on itrda proper, 
then the job-bits will probably fail.
this isn't supposed to be a problem,
as jobs run on the compute nodes.

just to be sure, you are submitting 
the job via 'qsub', yes ?
